General Definition of Google Ads

An almost endless source for finding the answer to any question that people from anywhere in the world are looking for, and in the form of a large platform in international dimensions that we know as Google, it has become a platform with a combination of paid and organic advertising. It helps us to achieve the desired result. Google Ads is a paid advertising platform that is located under a marketing channel known as pay-per-click (PPC), and every business in the position of an advertisement applicant is required to pay a certain amount for each click or impression (CPM) on an ad.

When users enter a search term, they are presented with results on Google’s search engine page (SERP), which may include paid ads tailored to keywords or a list of organic results below the paid ad.

Being in the top search engine results equates to attracting the most potential customers, so it’s understandable why businesses are willing to pay to gain this privilege. Also, using Google AdWords can effectively drive targeted traffic and high potential audiences to you because they are actively looking for products or services similar to yours.

How Google Ads works?

The Google Ads platform operates on a pay-per-click model, meaning advertisers are paid based on the number of clicks their ads receive. With Google Ads, your ads are shown to users who have searched for products or services similar to yours. The higher the number of ad clicks, the higher your advertising costs will be. This ensures that your advertising spend is focused on attracting potential customers. Google Ads does not charge for ads that do not receive any clicks.

Advantages of Google Ads

Google dominates the search engine market with more than 5 billion search queries per day and also has an advertising platform that has dominated the industry for almost two decades and has established itself as a veteran in paid advertising. The key benefits of this platform include:

1.Competitive Advantage: With so many businesses using Google Ads, achieving top organic rankings may not be enough. Therefore, by using Google ZD, you can be sure of being in the main view of SERP and surpass your competitors.

2.Increase traffic and income: through this method, achieve significant traffic growth and more leads, and improve the amount of people entering your page. According to Google, advertisers typically earn $8 for every $1 they spend on Google ads.

3. Precise targeting: Using Google AdWords’ targeting capabilities allows you to tailor ads to specific audiences based on interests, keywords, demographics such as age, and language preferences.

4.The ability to advertise on different devices: With Google AdWords, you can quickly create and distribute ads to reach your target audience on mobile and desktop devices. This ensures that your business appears on the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) when your potential customers search for the products or services your brand offers on Google Search or Google Maps.

5.Budget Control: You have the flexibility to set the frequency of payment, be it monthly, daily or per ad, and in most cases you will essentially pay for someone who clicks on your product or service.

6.Measure success: Over time, Google Ads helps you evaluate and increase your ads, allowing you to expand your audience’s reach and achieve all the goals set for your paid campaigns.

Types of Google Ads Campaigns

In general, there are 5 unique methods or styles in the Google Ads advertising space, which we describe below.

1.Search ads:

Google search ads appear on Google search engine results pages (SERPs) when users search for specific keywords.

These familiar ads are usually seen on the search results page with a black ad icon next to the URL. Search ads offer the advantage of displaying your ads in the main place where most users start their search. Google presents these ads in a format that blends seamlessly with other results, distinguishing them only with the word AD. This subtle labeling as an ad is somewhat inconsequential, as users usually click on these ads out of habit and trust to get top search results.

2.Display ads:

Google Display Network (GDN) ads are visuals that appear on various online platforms, such as websites, apps, and digital channels that partner with Google specifically for this purpose. These platforms are linked to Google through a program called AdSense, enabling them to serve relevant ads to their visitors that are sourced from Google.

3.Video ads:

The same videos that are played at the beginning, middle or end of the short film you watch on YouTube because you must remember that the YouTube platform is also an advanced search engine that displays using the right keywords for you.

4.application:

Google app campaigns use different platforms like Google Search Network, YouTube, Google Play and Google Display Network to promote your mobile app through targeted ads. The goal of these ads is to get app installs or specific actions from users who have already engaged with your app. Instead of creating a campaign yourself, you simply provide Google with information about your app and target audience, set a bid amount, and let Google take care of the rest of the process of showing your app to users. Advertisements can take different forms, including gifs, text, video or images.

5.Shopping campaign:

These ads typically appear on search engine results pages (SERPs) and provide comprehensive details such as pricing and product images. By using shopping ad, you can display your products in an attractive way. To set up a campaign, simply use Google Merchant Center to enter detailed product information.
